Your responsibilities
Ensure reliable building operations: You monitor the condition of our properties, plan preventive maintenance and repairs, and coordinate their implementation.
Create a clear digital overview: You’ll develop our digital asset and maintenance management system, with transparent maintenance plans, repair histories and clear processes for technical reports.
Manage issues with confidence: For more complex technical problems, you coordinate the response, bring in specialist contractors and ensure lasting solutions instead of quick fixes.
Drive modernisation projects: You oversee renovations and smaller interior fit-out projects from planning through to sign-off, keeping an eye on quality, costs and day-to-day guest operations.
Manage partners and budgets: You develop our service provider network, compare quotes, consolidate purchasing needs and manage projects within the agreed budget.
Strengthen our teams: As a trusted partner to Operations Managers and maintenance technicians, you provide technical guidance, set priorities together and develop cross-location standards with Cluster Property & IT.
What you should bring
Technical or trade training, ideally with further qualifications as a master craftsperson or technician, a relevant degree or equivalent qualifications.
Experience in technical building operations or facility management, ideally across multiple locations and in the hospitality sector.
Experience managing service providers, maintenance work and smaller projects, with a keen eye for cost and quality.
Technical aptitude, digital confidence and a passion for making processes clear and practical.
An independent, pragmatic approach to work: You identify what needs to be done, set priorities and follow tasks through.
Strong communication skills, team spirit and a willingness to be regularly present at all three Hamburg properties.
Good spoken and written German skills.
