Hamburg makes children healthy eV
Hamburg Makes Children Healthy eV helps sick children by supporting urgent pediatric projects – every donation helps further strengthen pediatric medicine. Since its founding, €3 million has been used successfully, sustainably, and unbureaucratically to support pediatric and adolescent medicine in Hamburg. This funding directly benefits sick children and adolescents in the city of Hamburg. We are delighted to be contributing our part as a partner.

GREEN vibes in our apartments
Room cleaning and linen changes are not carried out daily in our hotels. This saves energy and water, which has a positive impact on the environment. Guests also have the option of opting out of room cleaning altogether to help protect the environment. In addition, we place great value on regional furnishings and the upcycling of products in the form of materials and clothing.
GREEN Vibes im F&B
We're reducing the use of plastic packaging for our breakfast and lunch offerings, and extending this approach to our in-house shops. All food that we package and offer for consumption is safely stored in environmentally friendly packaging.
For our culinary offerings, we also pay attention to sourcing seasonal and regional products, always offering fresh, delicious dishes where we know exactly where the products come from. Homemade is the key! We want our guests to get to know us and our establishments from the ground up.

Recycling - In addition to carefully separating paper, plastic, household waste, batteries, etc., we pay increased attention to producing as little packaging waste as possible.
Cleaning and maintenance of equipment - We are careful to do this regularly to keep the power consumption of the necessary equipment in our departments as low as possible and to ensure that each piece of equipment is up to date, always intact, and meets standards.
Digitization - We are converting our processes to digital wherever possible. This starts with reducing paper usage in our departments and extends to offering digital check-in and check-out, making communication in this area more digital, faster, and more efficient.

In addition to electric charging stations, we offer our guests a wide range of environmentally friendly mobility options. In addition to car sharing, bicycles, and e-scooters, the city of Hamburg is very well connected, making public transportation a popular choice for getting around the city.

Since 2014, the Greensign program has been THE award for sustainable action, social responsibility, and continuous improvement. Our hotels are now also participating, and we're incredibly proud!
The five-stage certification system not only reviews the current state of sustainability, but also shows the way to continuous improvement and further development of one's own sustainability performance and is based on internationally recognized standards.
Since June 2022, the GreenSign Hotel Certification has also been globally accredited by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.
