Your tasks
- Ensuring cleanliness on all floors and in public areas
- Organizing daily operations within the department
- General administrative and specific housekeeping tasks (lost property handling, vacation planning/shift scheduling, etc.)
- Reporting defects in rooms and/or public areas to the housekeeping department
- Induction and training of housekeeping staff, as well as trainees, interns, and temporary workers
- Coordination and supervision of our housekeeping team
- Close contact with the employees of the partner company
- High intercultural competence
- Ensuring smooth operations and a harmonious stay for our guests
- You enjoy working hand in hand and are happy to provide support to your colleagues when needed
- Checking and accepting cleaned rooms
- Compliance with our hotel's hygiene standards
- Schedule and vacation planning for the housekeeping team in collaboration with Margitta, our Housekeeping Manager
- Close collaboration with Margitta, our reception, and the housekeeping department
What you should bring with you
- Professional experience in housekeeping (hotel industry), ideally even training in the hotel industry and initial management experience
- Expert knowledge of cleaning procedures, as well as safety and hygiene regulations
- Management experience
- Positive, friendly, and communicative person
- Absolute team player
- Strong sense of cleanliness and a love of order
- Attention to detail
- No panicking in your planning and coordination, even with last-minute changes
- Cool and clear-headed, even when things get difficult and stressful

- Very good knowledge of German and English

- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office; knowledge of Protel and/or Opera Cloud is an advantage
